Where we ship from

All orders are dispatched from our UK base in Wickford, Essex. We hold most 1:43 mini drift cars in UK stock. Occasionally specialist items are dispatched directly from our EU partner warehouse - this will be clearly marked on the product page.

Delivery Options & Timeframes

UK Mainland:

•  Standard Delivery (Royal Mail Tracked 48 / Evri): 2-4 working days - £4.99 / FREE over £75

•  Express Delivery (Royal Mail Tracked 24 / DPD): 1-2 working days - £7.99

•  Same-Day Dispatch: Order before 2pm Mon-Fri, we dispatch same day

UK Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland:

•  Standard: 3-5 working days - £6.99

Local Collection:

•  Free collection from Wickford SS11 by appointment - select at checkout and we'll email you a slot.

Working days are Monday-Friday, excluding bank holidays.

Order Processing

Orders placed before 2pm Mon-Fri are processed same day. Orders placed after 2pm, weekends or bank holidays are processed next working day. You will receive a tracking number by email once dispatched.

Delays

If a product is marked as "Pre-Order" or "Partner Warehouse", delivery can be 7-14 working days. We will always email you if there is any delay over 4 working days.

Damaged or Lost Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, please take photos of the box and product and email us within 48 hours. If tracking shows delivered but you haven't received it, contact us after 24 hours and we will open a claim with the courier.

International Shipping

We currently ship to UK only. For EU shipping enquiries, please email us - we can quote for Ireland, France, Germany and Netherlands.

Returns & Cancellations Linked to Delivery

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 14 days from delivery to cancel for any reason. Item must be unused, in original box. Buyer pays return postage unless faulty. See our full Returns Policy.

Batteries (LiPo)

All RC cars contain lithium batteries. These are shipped in compliance with UK Royal Mail / courier dangerous goods rules. We cannot ship batteries via air outside UK mainland.

We want you to love your RC car. If not, we make returns simple and fair.

1. 14-Day Right to Cancel (UK Law)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from the day AFTER you receive it, without giving a reason.

How to cancel:

Email us at thegreatescapecollection@gmail.com with your order number and "Return Request" in the subject within 14 days of delivery.

Once you notify us, you have a further 14 days to return the item.

You do NOT need to notify us if returning a faulty item - see section 3.

2. Conditions for Non-Faulty Returns

For hygiene and safety, to be eligible:

•  Item must be unused, un-driven, unbound

•  Original packaging, manuals, remote, charger, tools all included

•  No scratches, tyre wear, or battery charge cycles

•  LiPo batteries must not have been charged/discharged

If we receive an item that shows signs of use, we may deduct up to 50% for loss of value and you will still pay return postage.

Return postage: For non-faulty / change-of-mind returns, you pay the return cost. We recommend Royal Mail Tracked 48 or Evri tracked - keep proof of postage. We are not liable for lost returns.

3. Faulty, Damaged or Wrong Item

This is different - you have up to 30 days for a full refund/replacement under Consumer Rights Act 2015, and up to 6 months where we must prove it wasn't faulty.

If faulty on arrival, damaged in transit, or wrong item sent:

1.  Email us within 48 hours with photos/video + order number

2.  Do NOT attempt to repair it

3.  We will arrange free collection or send a prepaid label, and offer repair, replacement or refund - your choice within 30 days.

For RC electronics, faults include: DOA (dead on arrival), gyro not working, motor failure, remote not binding. Minor trim adjustment is not a fault - we provide support videos.

4. How Refunds Are Issued

•  Refunds for non-faulty returns: Original product price refunded, initial delivery charge only refunded if you returned the entire order. Refund within 14 days of us receiving the goods.

•  Refunds for faulty returns: Full amount including standard delivery cost refunded.

•  Refunds go to original payment method (Wix Payments / PayPal). Allow 3-5 working days to show.

We cannot refund to a different card or account.

5. What We Cannot Accept

•  Cars that have been crashed, jumped, run outdoors in wet/mud

•  Batteries that have been puffed, over-discharged or charged with non-original charger

•  Items bought as "B-Stock / Clearance / Spares" - sold as seen unless faulty

•  Gift cards

6. Exchanges

Want a different colour/model? Email us first. We can exchange if stock available. You'll pay any price difference and return postage for the first item unless faulty.

7. How to Start a Return

1.  Email: thegreatescapecollection@gmail.com - Order # + reason + photos

2.  We reply within 24h with RMA number and return address

3.  Pack securely in original box + outer box

4.  Include RMA number inside

5.  Post tracked to: The Great Escape RAD, 95 St Luke's Way, Wickford, Essex SS11 7JJ

No returns without RMA - they will be refused.

8. Warranty

All new RC cars come with 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects (electronics, motor, board). Does not cover crash damage, wear parts (tyres, shells, gears), water damage, or misuse. Batteries: 90-day warranty.

Keep your order confirmation - that's your proof of purchase.
